Asphalt crack filling, gravel distribution and dust control, and first ditch mowing have been completed.
Additional road work will continue in areas for tree trimming, traffic sign replacement and possible ditch spraying.
Further asphalt patching will occur for 13th Street NW and 62nd Street NW. Check the Constant Contact Township Letter for further announcements.
Reminder: Obstructions of any type: flagpoles, container gardens, mailboxes of brick or stone and/or that do not meet USPS Postal regulations are not permitted in the road right-of-way (ROW).
Parking: Please be considerate and avoid blocking the road. It’s important to keep it clear for fire, emergency, and police vehicles.

Welcome to Lake Andrew Township!
Nestled in the scenic northwest corner of Kandiyohi County in West Central Minnesota, Lake Andrew Township is a vibrant rural community rich in beauty, history, and opportunity.
The population of the township was 978 according to the 2020 Census. The township is just under 36 square miles, of which about 29 square miles is land and the remaining water.
For over 150 years, the Lake Andrew Board of Supervisors, Township officers and the Township residents have worked together to develop and maintain a high quality of life for all. Through thoughtful planning and collaboration, we strive to preserve the Township’s character while embracing growth and change to ensure that Lake Andrew Township is preserved for future generations.
Where Are We?
Several communities neighbor Lake Andrew Township including the town of Sunburg to the west; cities of New London and Spicer to the east. The county seat, Willmar, is located south of the township. This area is home to several lakes including Norway Lake, Games Lake, Lake Andrew, Lake Florida and smaller bodies, fed by the Shakopee Creek water system.

Here, agricultural production areas and small businesses merge with year-round lakeside living.

Boat, fish, swim, kayak, canoe, or paddle board and other seasonal activities
Camp at Games Lake County Park or Sibley State Park
Hike, bike or horseback ride on the Glacial Lakes Trail and explore parks, Prairie Woods Environmental Learning Center, and other designated wildlife areas.
